Learn the basics of
compounding in an actual retail pharmacy specializing in compounding.
Topics include safety, regulations, record keeping, marketing and
information, chemical and equipment resources. Each participant
will do several compounds for both human and animal use. Formulas
will be discussed in depth. Compounding can be taken to many levels and there are organizations to help you achieve any level of expertise you desire. This class is for the pharmacist to learn the basics of compounding as part of a traditional retail pharmacy. Once the basics have been mastered you may be stimulated to advance and expand your compounding skills. This course is taught by
a 28 year compounding veteran.
